Note on Eligibility:

The 2008 Teacher Leadership Conference is designed for South Dakota classroom teachers who are new to the teaching profession and completing their first or second contract year (full or partial school year). Preference will be given to those who have completed their first year in 2007-2008. (Facilitating teachers are by invitation only.)

Hotel Information
Please DO NOT reserve your own rooms. The Department of Education will handle hotel accommodations for all participants. Room assignments will be made early September when teacher selections have been made. DOE will be corresponding with the selected teachers. If you make your own hotel reservations, the Department of Education WILL NOT reimburse the school for lodging.
