NCLB K-12 Educational Technology Standards

Quick Links

The primary goal of these standards is to improve student academic achievement through the use of technology in schools. They are designed to assist every student in crossing the digital divide by ensuring that every student is technologically literate by the end of their public education in South Dakota.  They are not designed to be standards for comprehensive specialty education programs in technology but rather serve as an initial proficiency level for all students regardless of additional pursuits.

Approved Standards

Below find the initial board approved document of the standards and a couple resources to help facilitate collaborative learning of the standards.

Please contact Peg Henson with any comments or concerns you may have in relation to the new Educational Technology Standards.
