Examples of Classroom Practice
NOTE: These Examples of Practice were developed by the writers of the SD Mathematics Standards to guide reflective practice, professional discussion and performance based assessment. The Examples are not intended as required instruction or assessment, nor do they imply endorsement by the SD Department of Education. The lessons are examples of standards-based instructional design that allow students to communicate their understanding of mathematics through the application of mathematical concepts and skills in problem-solving situations.
