  2. How did representative government evolve from feudal England to present day? (Feudal England, Parliamentary England, New World, territorial, state, tribal government)

Activity

  1. Drawing Parallels:  Hang pieces of paper on the wall – each labeled Magna Carta, Petition of Rights, the English Bill of Rights, US Bill of Rights, and SD Bill of Rights.  (Using these documents, determine the parallels.)  A secondary activity from this data would be to prepare a timeline of events.

  2. Timeline of the evolution government from Feudal England to present day. What are the main events of historical significance during each eras?  This may be a collaborative learning project.
