Revised Language Arts Standards ready for Fall, 2004

South Dakota’s K-12 Language Arts standards have been reviewed, revised, and re-formatted to make them easier for principals and teachers to access and apply to lesson plans.  A team of Department of Education staff and language arts teacher reviewed the newly approved standards and will design activities and a system by which the standards will become available for Fall, 2004.  Updated information will be shared via the Administrative Memorandum throughout the summer.
