Lewis & Clark programs available for schools,
other groups
Lonis Wendt, historian, speaker, storyteller,
is now available through the SD Discovery Center in Pierre to present Corps of
Discovery programs for groups of all ages. Program topics include:
"Encounters, Escapes, and Escapades," "Weather, Water, Drams & Diet," and
"Christmas with the Corps of Discovery." He can also customize a program topic
for your group.
Wendt’s programs will be scheduled every
Tuesday at the SD Discovery Center in
Pierre beginning April 6.
Reservations are required. Fees are $2 per student or adult. Special rates
are available for those with classroom memberships. Wendt can travel to your
school to offer a full-day of programming; call 224-8295 for rates.
