New
online reporting for students who take STAARS exam
DOE’s
Office of Special Education is in the process of setting up an online
reporting system for schools to use when a student on an IEP takes the STAARS
exam. This will help ensure timely compilation of scores and participation of
students.
May 1 remains the
deadline for reporting reading and math scores to the Office of Special
Education. Special education teachers will not send in paper copies of
reporting forms to DOE this year. School officials are asked to watch for
updated information, including login instructions and directions for
completing the online report.
