Nation’s annual
Holocaust remembrance set for April 18-25
The annual Days of
Remembrance of the Victims of the Holocaust will be commemorated this
year from Sunday, April 18 through Sunday, April 25. The Day of
Remembrance is April 18.
The observances are
coordinated by the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC. This
year’s event will honor the memory of the Jews of Hungary, deported 60 years
ago in the final stages of World War II, as well as individuals,
organizations and countries that attempted to rescue them.
