The South Dakota Department of Education and Scantron's ongoing commitment to provide educators with valid and reliable assessment tools has resulted in some changes to the Performance Series scores. These changes have been implemented based on the research and recommendation of Scantron’s Research Department.

Tips and Technical Support

Listed below are the steps to follow should you encounter any technical issues. 

Check the Trouble Shooting Guide for assistance.

1. Contact the Department of Education.  Please call Laura Snow at (605) 773-8193 or email laura.snow@state.sd.us.
2. If the Department of Education staff is unable to assist you, you will be referred to the technical support staff at Scantron who can be reached at 1-800-445-3141.
3. If the issue is still unable to be resolved, individuals from the Department of Education and Scantron will team up to handle the situation.
