Caldecott Contenders:  Interactive site that allows students to vote on their favorite Caldecott book, answer opinion questions on line, and explore work other primary students have created.

Design and Award Your Own Medal – Lesson Plans: On-line lesson plans that include web links for students to discover the method in which awards are distributed. Students also may choose a book to read, and then participate in a literature circle.

Lesson Exchange: Learning About Caldecott Winners (Elementary, other): An on-line site for lesson plans that discuss illustrators.  Students make a “Book about Me” acting as the illustrator and author.

Caldecott and Newbery Award Winning Books:  WebQuest for 6-8 students to analyze a book and then explain why it was chosen for an award.
