Overview: Macromedia Flash is the most popular program on the Web! Teachers and students can use Flash to created multimedia reports that play live on the Internet inside of Text-sized “streaming” files. You can be extremely creative using Flash. You can use it to become digital storytellers, poets, and animators. You can become multimedia researchers and reporters. Tune in and learn the basic functions of Flash and view examples of student projects. This is the emerging publishing tool for the 21st century.

Mr. D'Ignazio is an internationally renowned author, educator, columnist, editor, and television commentator. A multimedia pioneer since the 70s, he has written 25 books on science and technology and has contributed to more than 400 articles on instructional technology for journals such as T.H.E, and Technology and Learning. He has conducted multimedia-training workshops in over 100 school districts in the U.S., Canada, Brazil, Italy, Australia, and the U.K. He has appeared in USA Today, on ABC-TV's Good Morning America, and NPR's All Things Considered. Fred has been the President of Multi-Media Classrooms, Inc. in Apex, North Carolina since 1987. He is the Executive Producer of "Classrooms without Walls TV."
