This site includes pictures and explanations of what soldiers' lives and possessions were like when they were in camp during the Civil War at Gettysburg National Military Park.

Civil War Album
This site is a collection of albums containing over 2,700 modern photos of Civil War sites. In addition to the photos there are over 100 battlefield panoramas, as well as many official records reports and maps.

Library of Congress Civil War Photographs
This collection contains 1,118 photographs which include scenes of military personnel, preparations for battle, and battle after-effects. The collection also includes portraits of both Confederate and Union officers and a selection of enlisted men.
