Are Chickens the Only Ones?
This is a neat web quest for the students to participate in.  They will learn about the types of animals that lay eggs and where they can be found.  The instructions are easy to follow.  The web quest also has instructions and a rubric for the teacher.

Cane Toad
Check out these huge toads that lay eggs in gooey strings.

Sea Turtles
Find out about the different species of sea turtles that all return to the beaches where they were born to lay eggs.

Babies and Birth – Eggs or Live?
Egg laying reptiles are what most people are familiar with since they seem to make up the largest groups of reptiles. These animals are referred to as oviparous. Ovoviviparous is the term used for reptiles that seem to give live birth.
