The Office of Curriculum, Career and Technical Education advocates for career and technical education programs, administers the Perkins program and works closely with the state’s four technical institutes.

Corporate Education/Business and Industry Training
Mission: The Corporate Education provides a variety of short-term, non-credit, training opportunities for several thousand individuals and several hundred businesses throughout South Dakota.
Corporate Education is for new or existing businesses or industry groups that are considering expansion or upgrading of employee skills. It also assures businesses and industries relocating to South Dakota the availability of employers and employees.
