South Dakota recognizes 16 career clusters -- each of which is a broad career field. Career clusters organize what students learn in high school around a broad professional field such as Agriculture, Health Science, or Information Technology. Career clusters are designed to help students acquire the knowledge and skills they need to reach their postsecondary and career goals.
