Office of Career and Technical Education

Perkins Budget Amendment Process
  • CTE teacher may contact OCTE about new requests to see if requests are “approvable” (e-mail, phone, etc.), BUT . . .
  • CTE teacher must then submit amendment request(s) to the consortium, multi-district, or school district CTE director.
  • Then, consortium, multi-district, or school district CTE director e-mails amendment requests to OCTE to be pre-approved before making changes to budget spread sheet.
  • Upon approval by OCTE, consortium, multi-district, or school district CTE director then makes changes to spreadsheet and renames it to School/Multi-district/ Consortium Name, Amendment 1, 2, 3, etc. (Example: Sioux Falls Amendment 1).
  • OCTE then approves amended application, sends to Grants Management Office. Letter with new amended budget sent to consortium, multi-district, or school district CTE director.
