 October Data Survey Reminder Each year schools and agencies are required to submit information to CANS pertaining to the numbers of students at your school or agency, broken down by attendance centers. Each year the month of October is used to collect this data. The announcement letter with the survey forms and instructions for completing the required information was mailed out at the end of September to Child Nutrition Program Authorized Representatives. Refer to the letter, dated September 29, 2003, for details. The survey forms must be sent back to CANS no later than November 14, 2003. October claims will not be processed for reimbursement until your October site survey is received and approved.
