Amy is a registered dietitian who works for Child and Adult Nutrition Services with the Department of Education, and oversees the Team Nutrition grant in SD. Karlys has a background as a Family and Consumer Science teacher and works with SDSU Cooperative Extension. She works with curriculum development, a mentoring program for food service staff, and other Team Nutrition projects. Please contact her with questions about available curriculum for use in schools and preschools, integrating nutrition into core content areas (i.e. math, history, and science), and the mentoring program for food service staff.
