Health Promotion for Staff

Students are not the only ones who need to maintain good health. Successful schools have healthy, highly motivated staff serving as powerful role models for students. Health promotion encourages and supports the entire school staff to improve their own health, lowering the rate of employee absenteeism, reducing health care costs, and increasing employee productivity. A healthy school staff is thus better prepared to meet the educational and health needs of their students.
