Physical
Activity and Nutrition Grants Awarded
A total of $70,000 is being award to the
following K-12 school districts, community
organizations, out of school programs (OST) and/or post secondary institutions. Monies are
available from the Maternal and Child Health
Block fund and a recent one-year grant from the
National Governors Association. The grants range
from $1000.00 to $5000.00.
Grant
activities will improve the policy and
environment around nutrition and physical
activity.
