Physical
Education Curriculum Analysis Tool (PECAT)
Workshop
The
Physical Education Curriculum Analysis Tool (PECAT)
is designed to help school districts conduct a
clear, complete, and consistent analysis of
written physical education curricula, based upon
national physical education standards. The
results from the analysis can help school
districts enhance existing curricula, develop
their own curricula, or select a published
curriculum, for the delivery of quality physical
education in schools. Coordinated School Health
in partnership with SD Association of Health,
Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (SDAHPERD)
will be holding a pre-conference workshop in
conjunction with the SDAHPERD convention on
October 31st, 1:00-5:00pm. It is limited to 40
participants.
