The emotional health of children is critical for
students’ success in school. To help families
better support their children in this area South
Dakota Voices for Children, together with the
SDSU Cooperative Extension Service, is making
available the second in the Wings for Life
series for distribution to parents at your
winter/spring parent-teacher conferences.
Developed by Dr. Ann-Michelle Daniels of SDSU
with a grant from the Sioux Empire United Way,
Wings for Life provides
age-appropriate
emotional development information for parents of
children in kindergarten through 8th
grade. Each grade level has four pages of
well-researched information and practical tips
for parents to consider with their children.
