National Board Certification in Health Education |
|

The National Board
of Professional Teaching Standards has announced that it will
now offer national certification in Health Education. The Early
Adolescence through Young Adulthood/Health Education certificate
is appropriate for teachers of students ages 11-18. The National
Board for Professional Teaching Standards has developed 11
standards of accomplished practice for health education
teachers, each of which describe an important facet of
accomplished teaching. Information about the criteria and how to
