youth organization leaders can register for the
South Dakota Schools Walk program and the
accompanying “Mileage Club Incentive Packet”
to promote walking to and/or at school.

Collecting School Height and Weight Data |
|
|
Height and weight data will be due to the
Department of Health by June 15, 2009.

equipment, a limited number of scales and/or
wall-mounted measuring boards available.

Free Flu Shots Available for Kids |
|
|
South Dakota will again offer free flu shots for
kids aged 6 months through 18. Parents can get
their kids vaccinated at private medical clinics
or at the department’s local community health
offices.

vaccine is free, providers may charge an
