State standards for business courses and marketing courses have been developed, and are now available on the department’s website. Two different workgroups consisting of high school and postsecondary educators developed the standards.

If your school is offering a course that doesn’t show up on the list, please let the Department of Education know, so that we can begin the process of developing state standards for the course.
