Teacher provides South Dakota perspective on Smarter Balanced writing team

South Dakota teacher Meghan Wounded Head provided representation on one of the task writing teams for the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium. SBAC recently released sample items and performance tasks related to the new assessment aligned to the Common Core, which will be used beginning in 2014-15. Wounded Head wrote a guest column about her experience for this month’s Teacher Feature.
