How to Search SD Ed Web

The curriculum searches may be used to find lesson plans, on-line activities and other instructional resources that are correlated with the South Dakota Content Standards.

To conduct a curriculum search:

1. Use the drop down menus in each field to select the area you wish to search. Begin with the field at the top and make selections working from top to bottom until a choice has been made for each field. Upon making each selection, you will notice a slight delay and the screen will blink. This is normal and part of the way in which the search engines work. The delay and blink are a result of the engines pulling up information to match your selections.

2. Click the search button. This will yield search results (lesson plans, on-line activities, and other instructional resources) related to the curriculum areas you selected.

3. Read through the search results and choose the site you would like to visit. Each title is a hotlink that when clicked will open a new window for the site selected. If you would like to conduct a new search, click on the back button or click on the type of search you wish to conduct.
