Leading Education through Administrator Development
Administrator Retreats
The Administrator Retreat is a two-day experience designed to promote
professional dialogue about common leadership issues facing various
administrator groups including superintendents, special education directors and
business managers. The retreat offers multiple opportunities for collaborative
problem-solving, networking and reflection.
Program Objectives
- To provide veteran administrators with a forum for dialogue with
colleagues and DOE leaders about current issues facing South Dakota School
Districts.
- To develop support networks for school administrators focused on the
concept of professional renewal.
- To engage administrators in processes which promote collaborative
problem solving and professional reflection.
