Aspiring School Leaders Program

This two-day experience is designed to provide participants with insights into the challenges and opportunities of school administration. Participants will discuss leadership with veteran principals and superintendents and engage in simulations related to the daily work of school leaders. Each participant must be nominated for the program. The Aspiring School Leaders Program is designed for teachers with strong leadership potential.

Program Objectives

• To provide teachers who are considering a career in school administration with insights into the daily work of principals and superintendents.

• To assist teachers with strong leadership potential in deciding whether or not school administration matches their abilities and interests.
