Balanced Leadership Academies

Best suited for superintendents, principals and other instructional leaders, these academies focus on leading change efforts in K-12 schools. Based on the McREL Balanced Leadership Model, the academies provide current research and practice on 21 different leadership responsibilities to achieve significant gains in student achievement. Program Objectives

To increase school administrators’ understanding of current research about effective school leadership.
To develop and strengthen leadership capacity for leading and managing change in schools.
To help school administrators create learning communities in their schools which are purposeful and focused on improving student achievement.
