This two-day experience results in a professional appraisal of an
individual’s capacity to meet the demands of being a school principal in the
21st century. Designed for first-year and early career principals, it engages
them in on-the-job simulations and provides one-on-one feedback from trained
assessors.
Program Objectives
-
To increase principals’ understanding of NASSP’s 21st
Century School Administrator Skills (Setting Instructional Direction,
Teamwork, Judgment, Organizational Ability, Sensitivity, Results
Orientation, Development of Others, Oral Communication, Written
Communication, Understanding Own Strengths and Weaknesses).
-
To provide principals with a professional appraisal of
their areas of strength and weakness for school leadership.
