The South Dakota ESEA Summer Conference, "Cultivating a Well-Rounded Education", is focused on current issues in Education and is the primary conference for Title Schools and afterschool programs in South Dakota. The conference emphasizes the critical nature of doing what is right and what is needed to help every child succeed and achieve academic success.

The 2015 re-authorization of the law governing federal Title programs, the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, has led education to a place of collaboration and equity for all students. This new law, also known as the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), places emphasis on growing all education programs to ensure that all students receive what they need to be successful in school and life.

Join other South Dakota educators for this important professional development opportunity. The conference will be held May 29-30, 2019 in Pierre, SD. All South Dakota educational professionals are invited to attend.
