State social studies conference set for

The Chiesman Center for Democracy,
South Dakota Department of
Education, and Technology &
Innovations in Education will host
the South Dakota Council for the
Social Studies State Conference
June 2-4 in Spearfish. The
conference offers opportunities for
teachers, administrators,
educational professionals, and those
interested in social studies
education to learn and share in the
latest information and techniques
available for teaching social
studies using primary sources.
Scholarships are available to the
first 100 K-12 classroom teachers
who register for the conference.
