Carson Block of Carson Block Consulting, Inc. will provide library technology trainings March 25 and March 26 at the State Library (and virtually). He will focus on technology for public libraries, trends, equipment, planning (including technology plan creation) and broadband access on Native American reservations.
While the March 25 training is geared toward public librarians, school administrators and school librarians are welcome to register as well.
The training on March 26 will focus on Native American schools and reservation issues concerning bandwidth as well as Native American student access to the internet via area libraries and branches. Tribal leaders and tribal educators as well as the library directors of our five public/tribal college libraries are welcome to register.
