As part of the celebration, 34 student leaders came to Pierre Feb. 3, for the South Dakota Career and Technical Student Organizations’ Legislative Shadow Day. Students shadowed legislators at committee meetings and observed House and Senate floor sessions. |

South Dakota K-12 educators are invited to apply to participate in this summer’s K-12 social studies content standards review and revision. South Dakota core content standards are reviewed and revised every seven years. Please note that some training will be required to participate in this work. |
