Public Notice:

The SD Department of Education, Birth to Three Program will conduct public hearings on the Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2013 Grant Application under Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA). The public hearings will be held at the State Library in the Commons Area, 800 Governors Drive, Pierre, SD on the following dates: January 8, 2013, 11:00AM – 12:00PM CST; and January 9, 2013, 1:00PM – 2:00PM CST

The meeting will also be available via Live Meeting through the internet. To connect via the internet go to https://www.livemeeting.com/cc/stateofsd1/join?id=PARTC-2013&role=attend. The meeting ID is PARTC-2013. Entry code will be left blank. To participate in the audio portion of the meeting, participants should call in toll-free at (866) 410-8397 and enter the code number 605 773 4478 just prior to the start of meeting.

A copy of the application is available by contacting the SD Department of Education – Birth to Three Program, 800 Governors Drive, Pierre, SD 57501 (605-773-3678). The application can also be viewed at http://doe.sd.gov/oess/Birthto3.aspx . Written comments concerning the federal application will be accepted from March 10, 2013 through April 8, 2013. Comments should be sent to Susan Sheppick, Part C Director, at the above address.
