Do you know an outstanding computer science teacher in South Dakota?
Please let the Computer Science Teachers Association know!

The South Dakota chapter of Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA-SD) is seeking nominations for the inaugural South Dakota Computer Science Teacher of the Year Award. This award celebrates the innovative teaching and dedication of those who inspire students to engage with computer science.

The CSTA-SD encourages administrators, community members, tech coordinators, librarians, and educators to submit nominations, including self-nominations. The teacher selected to receive the award will receive special recognition and prizes generously provided by CSTA-SD sponsors.

Ideal nominees are dedicated South Dakota teachers who are shaping the future of computer science in the state. Nominees will be asked to share a short story highlighting how they teach computer science in their classrooms, showcase one lesson they have implemented, and provide supporting documents that demonstrate their professional growth in this field.

Nominations can be made through the CSTA-SD's online nomination form.
