High school students sought for National Youth Science Camp

Science-loving juniors and seniors are invited to apply to represent South Dakota at the 2025 National Youth Science Camp (NYSCamp).
This free residential camp for students from across the U.S. and other parts of the Western Hemisphere includes a curriculum across science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, as well as many outdoor activities.
Hosted in Monongahela National Forest in West Virginia from July 10 through Aug. 2, the NYS Camp program is designed to honor and challenge some of the nation’s rising STEAM leaders and provide them with opportunities to engage with STEAM professionals and participate in exciting outdoor activities.
The NYS Camp is offered to selected participants at no cost – including meals, housing, and transportation – so that talented students may attend regardless of their financial ability. If you know a student who would benefit from this camp, please encourage them to apply.
For more information about the program, go to nyscamp.org. Applications must be submitted online at apply.nyscamp.org by 11:50 p.m. EST on Feb. 28, 2025.
