America’s Field Trip: Students in grades 3-12 eligible to enter contest celebrating America’s 250th

July 4, 2026, will mark the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. To commemorate that moment, America250.org, Inc., is inviting schoolchildren in grades 3-12 to be a part of the anniversary by sharing their perspectives on what America means to them. Students can submit artwork, videos, or essays for a chance to win an unforgettable field trip experience at one of the nation’s most iconic historic and cultural landmarks.

Students may submit artwork, videos, or essays in response to the contest’s prompt: “What does America mean to you?” Entries will be accepted through May 17.
