Get ready for South Dakota Week of Work!

It’s that time of year again to begin planning for South Dakota Week of Work, which takes place April 8-12, 2024.

South Dakota Week of Work is a time to engage in, promote, and celebrate work-based learning in South Dakota schools. It’s an opportunity for middle and high school students to explore career opportunities and engage in the communities through activities like job shadows, industry tours, and other business-classroom connections. It’s also a great time for schools that offer year-round work-based learning activities to promote and celebrate the amazing business partnerships they have developed and showcase all the career-connected learning opportunities the students have been taking part in all year.

Need some help getting started? Resources are available on the SD Week of Work website to help you and your students prepare for an engaging week of activities aimed at exploring career opportunities. A Celebration Kit is also available to help you promote the great things your school has been doing all year, and to celebrate the amazing community and business partners that have helped.
