Follow DOE social media for professional development opportunities

During the school year, every other week, the TeachSD newsletter is sent to every @k12.sd.us account in South Dakota. TeachSD was developed as a tool to provide useful information directly to South Dakota teachers.

Another, year-round resource the Department of Education (DOE) has for teachers is its social media pages. The DOE uses Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X as a way to communicate with South Dakota educators, families, and constituents.

The DOE’s LinkedIn page, in particular, is being developed as a resource for teachers and administrators to find professional development opportunities as well as news related to the education world in South Dakota. As we head into summer, the DOE invites those educators on LinkedIn to consider following us as a way to discover professional development opportunities throughout the year.
