School Librarian Leadership Retreat: The Amplified Librarian
July 26-27, Pierre - The School Librarian Leadership Retreat is an annual gathering that brings school librarians together to reflect on their practice, strengthen their leadership, and connect with colleagues from across the state. Through collaboration and shared learning centered on The Professional, The Program, and The Place, participants explore challenges and innovations in school librarianship, exchange ideas, and build meaningful professional connections. Your Journey Matters: 2026 Behavioral Health Conference
Aug. 11 – 12, Sioux Falls Convention Center – The South Dakota Department of Social Services, Division of Behavioral Health, is hosting the 2nd annual “Your Journey Matters” Behavioral Health Conference. This no-cost conference offers information related to suicide and substance misuse prevention, treatment, recovery supports, and reducing stigma. Continuing education is offered.
