Governor’s Cyber Academy brings opportunities to schools
The Governors Cyber Academy at Dakota State University expands awareness of and access to cyber education and career pathways to students. In addition to students being able to take Dual Credit Cyber Coursework (registration is open for Fall 2024 dual credit courses), they also are offering Cyber Enrichment Programming.
Through a Roadshow and a Cyber Takeover, students will have interactive opportunities to learn about a variety of cyber-related concepts including programming, cybersecurity, networking, and artificial intelligence as well as how cyber is integrated into industries such as banking, energy, agriculture, healthcare, and transportation. The intent of the cyber enrichment programming is to bring the cyber expertise to schools and communities, making it accessible to students at the local level.
