Campaign celebrates, elevates teaching profession
South Dakota teachers share their stories – focusing on the rewards and benefits of a teaching career – in a new campaign launched by the Department of Education. The campaign invites young people and individuals looking for a career change to consider a career in the education field, where you can "Make a Future Making Futures."
Featuring teachers from across the state (Avon to Lemmon), these professionals speak from the heart about their experiences in the classroom and the joys of impacting young lives.
The campaign has two aims: increasing the number of individuals who choose the teaching profession in South Dakota and raising awareness of the profession’s critical role in preparing the citizens and leaders of tomorrow. It utilizes a mix of communication vehicles from billboards to social media platforms.
