Safe Return and ARP ESSER Plans
Public school districts receiving federal funds through the American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ARP ESSER) program are required to have two plans in place. The first is a "safe return" plan that outlines the district's plan for operating during the COVID-19 pandemic. The second is a plan that outlines how the district expects to spend its ARP ESSER funds to address the diverse needs arising from or exacerbated by the pandemic, or to emerge stronger post-pandemic. This includes responding to students' social, emotional, mental health, and academic needs. Click on a link to access a district's plan. Please note: Plans are in varying states of approval and may change throughout the life of the ARP ESSER grant. Questions about a particular district's plan should be directed to the school district's administration.
