The South Dakota Framework for Teaching is a research-based set of components that defines what constitutes effective instruction. The framework serves as a roadmap for South Dakota educators, articulating clear expectations across four domains of professional practice: planning and preparation, classroom environment, instruction, and professional responsibilities. This knowledge will act as a crucial foundation for your professional development as an educator or administrator in South Dakota.

Middle and high school science, technology, engineering, and math educators are invited to immerse themselves in a world of technology and educational innovation at the K12 Educators Cyber Camp. This camp will provide valuable opportunities for building connections that will foster collaboration and community engagement. Topics include AI and machine learning,
