Board of Education Standards meeting to be held April 14

The Board of Education Standards will meet Monday, April 14, at 9 a.m. in Rapid City. As part of its agenda, the board will host the 4th and final public hearing on proposed standards in K-8 Computer Science, English Language Arts, and Oceti Sakowin Essential Understandings and Standards.

The proposed standards can be found on the DOE’s Content Standards Under Review webpage.

In addition to providing testimony during a standards hearing, interested parties may also submit written public comment. To provide written public comment, follow the appropriate links from the Content Standards Under Review webpage.
