CTE career clusters to be updated

The office of Career & Technical Education (CTE) is gearing up for a transition to a new career cluster framework for the 2026-27 school year. This new framework will modernize the current 16 career clusters to ensure continued alignment with evolving industries, emerging career pathways, and technological advancements.

CTE educators and industry professionals are invited to be involved in that process by applying to be a part of revision group teams to help shape the future of CTE in South Dakota.
