Public comment for Science Standards closes April 17

The Board of Education Standards will meet Monday, April 22, in Rapid City. As part of its agenda, the board will hold the last of four public hearings on proposed standards in Science and CTE Government & Public Administration cluster.

The proposed standards can be found on DOE’s Content Standards Under Review webpage. The webpage provides a link for submitting public comment. There is also an option to provide testimony during the hearing. Individuals interested in testifying during the hearing can register beginning April 8. Registration will close April 17.
