Principals: Hone skills, build confidence, grow network

Early career school principals can apply now to be part of next year’s Principal Leadership & Development Program. This program is designed to help new principals develop instructional leadership and management skills and to provide the guidance, encouragement, and resources necessary for successful school leadership.

Participants will have access to a cohort of mentor principals who have specific areas of expertise.

The program is delivered through a combination of in-person and virtual seminars on topics relevant to school principals. Topics include privacy rights and family issues, recruiting, hiring, and non-renewals, conflict resolution, and more.

Of the 40 principals who participated in SY 2023-24, all said they would recommend the program to others.
